DIGESTATE SLUDGE TRIALS AND BIOCHAR PRODUCTION
Our recent trials with digestate sludge highlight the efficiency of our pyrolysis system. By drying the material down to 15% moisture, using machine heat, we do not need sludge to be densified, which is expensive, and we only need a carrier for certain materials. The material is then fed directly into our system, producing biochar that is free from E. coli and Salmonella contamination. Additionally, our process achieves the thermal destruction of PFAS and microplastics at temperatures up to 800 degrees, showcasing our capability to handle and process complex organic compounds.
