DIGESTATE SLUDGE TRIALS AND BIOCHAR PRODUCTION
Our recent trials with digestate sludge highlight the efficiency of our pyrolysis system. By drying material from 75% to 15% dry solids using machine heat, we've eliminated the need for expensive densification or carriers. The material is then fed directly into our system, producing biochar that is free from E. coli and Salmonella contamination. Additionally, our process achieves the thermal destruction of PFAS and microplastics at temperatures between 590°C and 650°C, showcasing its capability to handle complex organic compounds.
